Noel is the Managing Broker and CEO of McDevitt Sotheby’s International Realty. He also handles recruiting and business development for the company. Noel practiced real estate and corporate law for 15 years in Atlanta, New York and Southern Pines before going into the real estate business full time. Most of Noel’s responsibilities are corporate in nature. However, because of his legal background and experience with land development, Noel works with individuals on the listing and acquisition of large tracts of vacant land, either for use as horse property or as development property. When Noel is not in the office or working on the farm, he enjoys fly-fishing, sailing and an occasional round of very casual golf. Ellen Pfann
Ellen arrived in Pinehurst from Fairfield County, Connecticut in 1996. She and husband Randy had fallen in love at a local Connecticut golf course. So the thought of living in the Golf Capital of the World was, and still is, very exciting. Today, she lives on the Golf Course in Pinehurst with Randy and her menagerie of mostly rescue pets. Before her career as a Broker, Ellen spent many years in Marketing & Sales for Fortune 100 and 500 Companies. She became very well known in Pinehurst as the Owner of a popular restaurant, in which she and Randy built, ran, operated and entertained patrons for 5 years. Ellen is an Accredited Buyer's Representative, a designation from the National Association of Realtors, for servicing Real Estate Buyers in an ethical, professional manner. J. O. has been a member of our community for three years. She hails from Colombia South Carolina where she had enjoyed a very successful career in banking. After visiting her family in Southern Pines, she fell in love with the area and decided to make it her permanent home. J. O. is active in many social groups and has a passion for gardening and ballroom dancing. She is very active in her church and has contributed positively to our community through her volunteer work including that with the Moore Regional Hospital where she worked with cancer patients. She has found the residents of Pinehurst, Southern Pines and Vass area to be very enjoyed and decided to utilize her talents by helping others find the perfect home whether they are new to the area or long time established residents. Inge Dahl is a native of Denmark, whose real estate career began in New York 20 years ago. Inge has been a real estate broker in the Pinehurst – Southern Pines area for a number of years. She is a valued member of McDevitt Sotheby’s International Realty. Inge is also well known in the community as the former proprietor of The Southern Pines Tack & Saddler, for years a premiere tack shop and sporting art gallery serving the local horse country. Inge decided to close the shop and re-enter the real estate business full time, to the dismay of her customers but to the great delight of her real estate clients. Inge works out of the Southern Pines office and resides in Southern Pines horse country. Melissa "Mel" Faust
Melissa Faust moved to Southern Pines from Louisiana in connection with a military relocation. “Mel”, as her friends know her, represents both sellers and buyers and works out of the Southern Pines office. She has worked with a large number of military families to help them coordinate the sale or purchase of homes in the Southern Pines and Pinehurst areas. Mel lives in Southern Pines. Carolyn Hallett
Although a native of Charlottesville, Virginia, Carolyn has lived in North Carolina since 1980 and in Pinehurst since l999. Many of you initially met her in l996 when she opened her store "Special Things," first in the Village of Pinehurst and then on Broad Street in Southern Pines. Prior to moving to the Sandhills, Carolyn and her husband Henry owned homes in Durham, Raleigh, Cary, and Danbury, Connecticut. During this time, they renovated two homes and designed/built three! After receiving a B.S. Degree in Interior Design, Carolyn practiced residential interior design for ten years in the Raleigh-Durham area. This is the fuel that fired her love of homes and excitement about the real estate profession. Sandra Martin has lived in the Pinehurst and Southern Pines area for 27 years. While working in the golf shop at the Pinehurst Resort for over five years, she was able to meet many of the locals. She established many wonderful contacts within the area. Sandra and her husband were the owners of a popular fine dining establishment for seven years. Since selling the business, Sandra has taken up her passion for real estate and earned her brokers license. With her knowledge of the area she can continue to assist and serve the public with their real estate needs. Sandra resides in Southern Pines and enjoys spending time with friends and family. Dick Tremblay is a 40 year lifetime member of the Professional Golfers Association of America. His golf career includes the restoration of an abandoned Donald Ross course, to establishing the 420 acre Four Seasons Torrey Pines Resort, to owning the 36 hole Golf Professionals Club in Beaufort, South Carolina. Dick lives in Pinehurst and spends most of his time selling property in golf communities in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area. He is also very active when it comes to assisting military families relocate to the area. Most recently Dick and his wife owned their own real estate company catering to luxury residences in Hilton Head S.C. He and his wife Janice met 40 years ago giving her golf lessons (a great story there) and boast 3 wonderful grandchildren up in Boston. As owner and host in his prior businesses, Dick possesses the skills to enhance your real estate journey to an enjoyable and comfortable experience. Melanie Montesanti is the closing co-coordinator for McDevitt Sotheby's International Realty. She was born and raised in North Carolina. Her Italian heritage gives her a love for fine food and great friends. She enjoys making delicious treats for the rest of the office. Melanie is one of those people who you feel like you've known forever as soon as you meet her. She keeps the closing details running smoothly for our clients. Melanie has been with the company for many years and is a valuable member of our team. Melanie has a passion for animals and lives with the loves of her life, her 3 cats Pitch, Puck and Pear. Pitch, Puck and Pear's favorite past time is playing with the prisms on Melanie's Lamp Shades and cuddling with their Mom. Melanie enjoys Shag dancing, cooking and baking, reading a good book and spending time with friends. |
