The original course was built by Ed Seay and Ellis Maples in 1971, and the par-5 second hole is one of the delights of the area. The second course is a combination of Dan Maples and Arnold Palmer-Ed Seay. Members and guests of Woodlake also enjoy playing privileges at The Carolina, Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay's award-winning golf course located approximately 15 minutes away.
Enjoy elegant lakeside dining in Woodlake's Historic Oates House, offering a variety of entrees Thursday-Saturday. This historic building is a magnificent reminder of colonial residents. Originally constructed in 1792 in nearby Fayetteville, NC, the house first served as an inn and later became the home of John A. Oates, a judge, historian and civic leader.
