Both courses at Foxfire were designed by Gene Hamm. I have not played Foxfire until very recently, but these courses were in very good shape .
The East Course is a tougher course than the West Course, but they are both very challenging. I was surprised about how much water you find on the course. Both courses take advantage of the water to make very fair water holes. I really liked all the Par 3 holes on both courses for some reason. The Clubhouse is very nice. The Pro Shop is slightly below average. The Grill/Bar area has a good selection and nice dining area that's a good place to watch golf while you unwind. The staff at Foxfire was above average on the days I played. Real Estate
Homes, Lots and Condos are available in Foxfire, including golf front property and waterfront property. Foxfire is a town, but there is not much there other than a convenience store. However, Pinehurst is only about 6 miles away.

THE BOTTOM LINE – With 2 courses, you get a lot of variety and the rates are very reasonable. Also, the courses are in very good condition and are in a very quite setting. A lot of real estate choices also.
