The Sandhills Youth Soccer League in Southern Pines is an awesome organization serving the Pinehurst and Southern Pines area. It's based at the Southern Pines Soccer Complex, which is located on Morganton Road convenient to Southern Pines, Pinehurst and Aberdeen. The Soccer Complex itself is a state of the art facility built by the Town of Southern Pines.

The “SYSL” as it's called locally, offers camps for children and also has instruction for referees and coaches. In addition to regular season competition, SYSL also sponsors a number of tournaments. The best thing about the SYSL is that it is run by folks with a great deal of experience and commitment to a sport that they are passionate about.
