Having relocated to Southern Pines from out of state, I went to McDevitt for help in finding the perfect new home.

Thank you, for showing me so many homes and persuading me to buy such a beautiful home in Beacon Ridge/Seven Lakes West. I can't believe it's been just over a month since I moved into my new home. I absolutely love the stunning water views of Lake Auman! It has been such a delight that many of my wonderful new neighbors have stopped by to welcome me to Beacon Ridge, some of whom shared friendship bread and delicious homemade sweet goods.
It can't be left unsaid that you were more than instrumental in obtaining last minute inspections, a surveyor, and a closing attorney for our "unheard of" nine day marathon race from contract to closing. I also truly appreciate the kindness and friendship that you and your husband have extended to me; not to mention the fact that you both came over a few days after closing to offer your chain saw and labor to take a few small trees down. The lovely lunch you brought was fabulous as well, especially to a person who had been busily trying to put a dent in unpacking the huge amount of moving boxes that were towering us everywhere.

After taking time on her day off to speak with us and ascertain our needs when we dropped in unexpectedly, Inge continued to work with us via the Internet over the next few months, sending us information about homes and learning what we liked and disliked. It went so well that we subsequently spent only one day looking at homes with her, making an offer on one the following day and subsequently buying it. We highly commend Inge for her personal service!

We wanted to take a moment and thank both of you for your help and patience getting us into this house. We never would have looked at a townhouse if you guys hadn't pointed this one out to us….and it's spectacular. We have a great view of the wide part of the lake without having to look at the causeway or beach club…..the view is better than the Canal Lane house…it feels like you are overhanging the water…..just beautiful. We had a very hard time going home which is highly unusual for us. We thought about “just chucking everything in Baltimore” and staying here. Three years and counting.
Hunter was wonderful to work with. Barry Coyle also installed our water heater (if you see him let him know the check is in the mail)……….everything is working fine and Barry was kind enough to follow-up the following day to make sure we had hot water…….people are so nice.
So, all in all, life is beautiful!!!
Also, we wanted to thank you for the gift bag, and the membership letters……..we loved the cook book, the key chains are in use……..and a good friend of ours has already claimed the golf balls.
